War Crimes Report Shows US Violations of International Law and Demands Prosecution of US Military and Civilian Leaders

The violence of the Iraq War, the chaos that has come to Iraq, can be traced directly to the illegality of the invasion and occupation of that country and the illegality of the tactics and weapons being used to maintain the occupation. "U.S. War Crimes in Iraq and Mechanisms for Accountability" documents these violations and calls on us all to demand investigation and prosecution of violations of international law by military and civilian leaders.
The report was prepared by Consumers for Peace.org http://Peace.org with the advice of Karen Parker, noted lawyer in human rights and humanitarian law. Ms. Parker is President of the San-Francisco-based Association of Humanitarian Lawyers ( www.humanlaw.org ) and Chief Delegate to the United Nations for the Los Angeles-based International Educational Development/Humanitarian Law Project (IED/AHL), an accredited non-governmental organization on the U.N. Secretary-General's list.
Dahr Jamail, noted independent journalist who spent more than eight months reporting from occupied Iraq, writes the following about the report:
"I cannot endorse strongly enough this report prepared by Karen Parker regarding U.S. war crimes in Iraq. Having witnessed much of what is so well documented in this report, it is a clear and encompassing indictment of the Bush Administration for the war crimes they are directly responsible for in Iraq. Until evidence such as this begins to see the light of day in a court of law and the perpetrators brought to justice, the world remains unsafe and unstable from an administration determined to rule the world. After witnessing what they are capable of in Iraq, I have no doubt these people will not stop in their quest for world domination. Instead, they must be stopped. And the only way to do that is bring the guilty to justice. This document will help achieve that goal."
Kathy Kelly, co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Non-Violence, three-time nominee for the Noble Peace Prize, who has visited Iraq 28 times in the last 15 years, writes of the report:
"After spending four days in the fortified and secure Green Zone, in Iraq, during September '06, former Secretary of State James Baker III assured that the investigative panel he led had not spent any time "wringing our hands over what mistakes might or might not have been created in the past." (NYT, September 20, 2006). The "Consumers for Peace" report on war crimes committed in Iraq helps us understand our responsibility not to wring our hands but rather to demand accountability from elected representatives by delivering this report to them and to local media. How many people killed? How many families torn apart? How many homes destroyed? How many livelihoods gone? How many lives ruined? How many cities sacrificed? We bear responsibility to end the war in Iraq, insist on just reparations for suffering caused, and promote careful, legal scrutiny of the crimes committed. we can't have this James Baker; "we didn't wring our hands or worry our purdy little haids bout torture and murder" going on after this election. These thugs and murderers need to be brought to trial in the Hague, and 'executed' as were the nazi's during the Nuremburg war crimes trials after World War II.
and no human anywhere on the planet, nor animal, for that matter, can feel secure till they are all put to death for their heinous mass murder and crimes against all humanity.

Now, add:
1. The demise of the USA Broadcast Fairness Doctrine in 1987 and the demise of the 7-7-7 Media Ownership laws from the Telecommunications Act of 1996, thus creating a media monopoly that is not law bound to give equal time OR tell the TRUTH. ANYONE can now be "made" or "broken" by this Communications "weapon."
2. Sell off key elements of our telecommunications infrastructure to a foreign power and through the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act of 1994 (CALEA), which was also "rushed" at the last minute, all of these telephone and data systems can now be monitored, recorded and analyzed remotely by a few keystrokes on a computer. (I used to train on these systems and assisted in their implementation . .. not the kind of thing you want falling into the "wrong hands", if you know what I mean)
3. Enter the "Candy Man", Jack Abramoff and friends . . . anything you want to feed your rich dysfunctional frat brat desires, he can get it . . . and can even provide a "safe place" for the encounter in his hotels/casino boats/etc . . . no slave more loyal than a junkie, kidz . . . as long as you are providing their "fix", they will do your bidding. . . especially if you also have the power to expose them through phone calls, Instant Messages, e-mails, hidden video cameras, etc.. . ..
4. Now, go back and look at who sold us the great "Drug War" and who really benefitted from this neutralization of the Left's leadership and the "breaking" of minorities and the poor as well as the militarization of our domestic law enforcement. . . Nuremberg Chief Prosecutor Benjamin Ferencz wants Bush to go "on trial" for launching "an illegal war of aggression" against the innocent People of Iraq, "the supreme war crime against humanity"! Bush "failed" miserably to go back to the UN for the "required" 2nd UN Resolution authorizing war. Iraq had "not" attacked the U.S., and the UN Inspectors had "not" completed their work. Under those conditions, the UN Security Council would "not" approve a New Resolution authorizing war. Bush got "impatient" and started his own war, thereby launching "an illegal war of aggression", and everything that followed was "illegal" also, "a clear breach" of the UN Charter, a gross violation of International and U.S. Laws, and a grievous violation of the Nuremberg Accords citing this type of "war crime" as "the most heinous of all war crimes against humanity"! Bush "on trial" for "war crimes", "crimes against the peace", and "war crimes against humanity"? Most certainly, he could be, but, unfortunately, his Republican Congress remains "silent", as if "complicit", with "no shame", and "no decency", as if overlooking his "misdeeds", while "justice" is being "denied" her "due", now long overdue.
