The bill for Agent Orange

We may be getting older, way too many have passed on needlessly, and have fought a long time for those that seek and support Wars of Choice to do their part 'Sacrifice' as to what is owed those who serve, but be aware we'll not let the Country treat this new generation of Veterans the way we were treated and ignored!! We don't do 'magnetic ribbons', 'lapel flag pins' nor especially 'purple heart bandages' with laughter, we do reality!!!

 

The bill for Agent Orange comes due through Vietnam vets

 

August 31, 2010 - Age and Agent Orange are closing in on Vietnam veterans, a legacy of hurt for those who served — and a very big bill for American taxpayers.

It’s a world turned upside-down from decades ago when returning soldiers had to fight to get attention for deadly lymphomas linked to the herbicide. Now the frailties of men in their 60s — prostate cancer, diabetes, heart disease — lead the list of qualified Agent Orange disabilities, and the result has been an explosion in claims — and the government’s liability. {read more}

And as a Responsible Society we still owe the Vietnamese still suffering the results of our destruction to their Country and Defoliant Contamination
