1) NO TO INTERVENTION IN THE MIDDLE EAST - PICKET JANUARY 28TH

Stop the War is calling a protest against western intervention in the Middle
East. The growing threats against Iran in recent weeks have been backed up 
with increased sanctions. As we know from Iraq, these are likely to be a
prelude to war, not an alternative to it. There are signs of covert
intervention already in Iran, as there are in Syria. Stop the War opposes all
military intervention from the west in the region, for which there is
absolutely no justification.
 
We will be gathering outside the US embassy, Grosvenor Square, London W1 on
Saturday 28 January from 2-4pm. Please support it if you can.
 
We would like to encourage groups to hold meetings on no to intervention in 
the Middle East, to discuss and explain the situation, and to hold local 
events if you can.

2) END THE SIEGE OF GAZA - PROTEST DECEMBER 27TH

Nearest tube: High Street Kensington 

Join us to commemorate three years since Israeli attack on the Palestinian
people in Gaza in December 2008 / January 2009 and to protest against the
continuing violence and siege against Palestinians living in Gaza.

We will not forget - Justice for Palestine - End Israeli war crimes

Called by Palestine Solidarity Campaign, British Muslim Initiative, Jews for
Justice for Palestinians, Friends of Al Aqsa, Stop the War Coalition, Campaign
for Nuclear Disarmament, Palestinian Forum in Britain.
