Protest War Criminal Dick Cheney in Chicago 9/19/2011

Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney will be at the Authors Group event at Union League Club of Chicago on September 19th.  Join World Can't Wait, the 8th Day Center for Justice and the Illinois Coalition Against Torture to protest. 

We will protest in front of the Union League Club when Dick Cheney comes to Chicago hawking his book, In My Time, in which he defends torture - a crime against humanity that is not subject to any statute of limitations, the war of aggression he helped launch and illegal spying on untold numbers of people in this country, to name just a few of his crimes. He should be a pariah behind bars, not feted in posh clubs. Why isn't he? Look to Obama's policy of "looking forward, not backward" that grants Cheney total impunity. Join us to demand his prosecution.
