Elizabeth Holtzman, a former four-term Congresswoman and DA of Brooklyn, will discuss the subject of impeachment Wednesday, May 23 at 8:00 pm at the Mulberry House Senior Center, 62-70 West Main Street, Middletown NY.
Holtzman, who served on the judiciary panel that impeached Richard Nixon, was invited to the Hudson Valley to talk about what constitutes “high crimes and misdemeanors” and why the founding fathers created articles of impeachment. Q&A to follow. $5 donation.
She co-authored with Cynthia L. Cooper, The Impeachment of George W. Bush: A Practical Guide for Concerned Citizens. Book signing at the event from 7:30-9:30 PM.
