Honda and Toyota are on board and are still producing natural gas fuel models. The Big 3 were on board until 2005, when auto sales tanked, due to a lack of public fueling sites for consumers regarding natural gas vehicles:

The proponents of the electric car craze are making a lot of noise, but producing a battery to meet the demands and needs of consumers is technologically down the road!
