Who needs a backbone?

I have the advantage of having a congressman who is known as a progressive, he is even a member of the House’s progressive caucus. My two senators are also known as progressives. They vote for funding of the wars and occupations, they vote for “Healthcare” bills that screw their constituents; you got to ask yourself why? It is not because they don’t have a backbone, it is because they do not fear us, the very people they represent. They think there is no place for us to go, they do the business of the corporations because that is where the money comes from to stay in office. “Follow the money!”

Senator **wyden is listed as 13th on the money list for taking money from the financial sector of our nation, he took over $400,000.00 from the banks, insurance and Wall Street. That would be bad enough, then you find out who the top two money grabbers in the Senate are, #2 is harry reid, Majority Leader (D-NV) over $1,000,000.00 and #1 is charles schumer, (D-NY) over $2,000,000.00

They take the money, vote for the corporations and we wonder why?

Backbone, no! It has to do with who got the money and how do the politicians get some, simple corruption. We all think we know how corrupt the republican leadership has become, it is more difficult for progressives to say the same about the leadership of the democrats. Until we say corruption is corruption no matter who is getting the money, we will be screwed by these scoundrels. Until we get money out of politics we will look for excuses to explain the votes of “Would be progressives.”

“It is Time!”

Want real change, tell your representatives you are going to vote for an independent and leave the democratic party, watch the changes start to come fast and furious. Want to get screwed again and again send the same people back to Washington and hope for change. It is not the politicians who need a backbone, it is us----the voters!
