This video is a musical remix of highlights from David DeGraw’s TV interviews. He exposes the financial terrorism network that has looted the global economy and calls for a 99% movement to restore the rule of law. As DeGraw has said, “Republicans and Democrats have failed us. Both parties have been bought off by a well-organized Economic Elite who are tactically destroying our way of life. The harsh truth is that 99% of the US population no longer has political representation. The US economy, government and tax system are now blatantly rigged against us. It’s time for revolution!”

Happy Thanksgiving for Many Veterans? Not!!
And while this is happening, money also drying up for military help orgs. as well as veterans orgs., we get the pampered class, majority of america, whining about the security they help create the need for, most being of the cheering crowd of these failed wars of choice and loss of personal security under those who ordered it all, even the (T) {tepublicans} in congress!!!!
This Dec. 7, Take the Money and Run
By Dave Lindorff
Leave it to a soccer hero to kickstart some serious political action.
Eric Cantona, a French soccer star who finished his playing career at Manchester United and went into acting, has sparked a European, and perhaps a global uprising against the global banking industry by calling on people everywhere to simply take their money and run away from the big banks on December 7.
Cantona, in a television interview about his career, got political in a hurry, saying that demonstrations such as those that occurred last month across France in opposition to cuts in that country's retirement program, were meaningless and "accomplish nothing except to further the aims of the oppressors." He called on those same protesters, and on people everywhere, to take "effective action" by withdrawing all their savings from the banks.
So Many Messages
All week, I intended to write about Nancy Grace and her Veterans Day tribute to our “fallen,” that euphemism for the war-torn dead. I would begin and, suddenly, see her surname with fallen and be Galatians 5: 4’d to “ye are fallen from grace.” I blame it on childhood years of Baptist brainwashing.
It’s just that my mind has been a smorgasbord of images and messages, lately. There’s Bush’s self-masturbatory, ghostwritten diary, along with email pleas for efforts in futility, war and more war, income disparity, and all the people who lead lives of either quiet or screaming desperation.
Soon after W began pushing his memoir, a flurry of requests for petition signing, demanding an investigation of Bush Administration
U.S.: Subversive Activities in Friendly Territories
America conducts subversive activities in friendly territories
13.11.2010 - The United States found itself embroiled in a major spy scandal. As many as five countries caught the Americans illegally spying on their citizens.
Nobody would think it was strange if we were talking about the citizens of Russia, China, Iran, Syria and Venezuela. With these five countries, everything is clear: U.S. officials constantly refer to them as those presenting threats to the national security. But this time the U.S. was caught by quite friendly countries of Northern Europe - Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
We Need A Rally To Restore The Rule Of Law And/Or The Constitution
By David DeGraw, AmpedStatus -- The Federal Reserve represents global banking interests who have overstepped their legal authority. Their Quantitative Easing program is an explicit violation of the Constitution. By deliberately devaluing the dollar and causing the price of basic necessities to rise, the Federal Reserve is, as a matter of strategic policy, sacrificing a significant percentage of the US population for the benefit of a few global bankers. In the process, they are also igniting a global currency war that threatens the security of the American people. In clear terms, the Federal Reserve’s actions represent a declaration of war against the people of the United States.
BS from the BLS:Things are a Lot Worse Than They are Telling Us
By Dave Lindorff
Many Americans simply assume that the government and politicians lie when they are talking about things like cutting taxes, or eliminating waste. But somehow, we tend to believe official government reports about things like economic “growth” or unemployment rates, or even cost-of-living increases.
The truth, sadly, is that the government is lying about these things too.
HEY boehner and mcconnell
I faxed the following to their offices this morning:
I'll refine the banner later for some more contacts seen as how they haven't a clue as to the question! ;c}
Hey what else does a hard working A+ type personality of the Construction Industry have to do when forced into early retirement and sitting on his butt ;o}
Time For 'Accountability', NOW!!
So this is the game they want to keep playin, just heard on the News they're going to try and do a Clinton on this Administration investigative hearings every week!! OK Now's the time for the DoJ to open up criminal investigations into the crimes of the bush administration and the republican congresses especially as to the Wars and especially Iraq, the Brits and others already have a ton of testimony to start picking from on what was going on here and there!! Way over time for Accountability as the World, and especially Iraqi's and Afgans, has been watching and waiting!!!!
Democratic Base to Party Leaders: Take That You Smug Bastards!
By Dave Lindorff
The Democrats were blown out of the water on Nov. 2.
But it’s not because of the Tea Party, or because of a resurgent Republican majority.
The Democrats deserved to lose because they have long since abandoned whatever principles they had, and more important, they’ve pissed on their most important supporters--the left, real liberals, African Americans, women, unionized workers, and workers in general. So I say hooray, all those groups have struck back!
Barack Obama set this disaster for the party and his presidency in motion before he was even sworn in as president, by choosing Wall Street hacks as his economic advisers in the midst of the worst economic crisis in 75 years, and by choosing as his key political adviser Rahm Emanuel, who famously called progressive critics “fucking retarded,” and who, when warned that the GM bailout plan would hurt the United Autoworkers members who worked there, also famously said “Fuck the UAW!”
Well Welcome Brother and Sister Vets!!
To Our Reality!
All you younger Vets to another, of many, DeJa-Vu moments, this time the Country can't afford what's comin!!
With the house take over and actually now, not in numbers except just enough, they also control the senate, no need to filibuster just vote in lockstep as they did the previous decade they controlled, and especially under the bush, as well as the total obstruction the last four years.
Got Veterans needs, there are still plenty, forget about even Hearings let alone Congressional Investigations into, as to any tweaking of the GI Bill more likely rollback on that and much that has been happening in the VA and from the Administration as to Military their Families and Veterans. These so called 'teabaggers' Don't Want To Pay, Even The Vets Within!
I refer you to two recent articles:
WAR! (don't look!)
Nov 2, 2010 - A new isolationism is metastasizing in the American body politic. At its heart lies not an urge to avoid war, but an urge to avoid contemplating the costs and realities of war. It sees war as having analgesic qualities - as lessening a collective feeling of impotence, a collective sense of fear and terror. Making war in the name of reducing terror serves this state of mind and helps to preserve it. Marked by a calculated estrangement from war's horrific realities and mercenary purposes, the new isolationism magically turns an historic term on its head, for it keeps us in wars, rather than out of them.
Who Knows Benefits of Conserving Fuel
A short but good article pointing out two extremely important issues Not being talked about during this campaign cycle especially by those getting the most press {and their very own 24/7 cable channel hyping them}, the so called Mad electorate calling themselves the TEA party. Many, or most, are from the same that brought us these two long running occupations and are supporting those seeking representative jobs from the same political party with no ideology but quickly rubber stamped the credit card of dept and already have stated they won't Work for the Country, in no way to compromise but to raise the obstruction within!
More Bodies Needed for Higher Education 'Industry'?
That's become very profitable!
There is No Problem finding the needed Skilled Worker to bring on a Green Economy, we're all over the Country and World and mostly sitting on our collective butts thanks to the collapse of the economies and the construction industries by the 'highly educated' in the corporate world and found also in the corporate construction offices!
Industry may face a lag while workers are trained
Companies and governments are promising to go on hiring sprees to support their new green economies, but a newly-released study indicates that they may have trouble getting qualified applicants.
What is Winning in Afghanistan
And corporate suits, in their corporate offices, are controlling the trade around the World!
Opium is winning the Afghan war
Under our eyes... opium poppy fields in Afghanistan. Photo: AP
October 31, 2010 - THE parliamentary debate on Australia's involvement in Afghanistan has involved little mention of its implications for our other big conflict, the war on drugs. In Afghanistan, the US and its allies are, once again, propping up Third World drug producers for political purposes.
According to the UN World Drug Report 2010, Afghanistan has produced 90 per cent of the world's illicit opium in recent years. A lot of that has come from the province in which Australian troops are stationed.
Telling TEA Party thoughts?!? on Military and Veterans
This comment by Angle, caught it last night on CBS and my head nearly exploded, shows Exactly what she thinks? about the Soldiers we're sending into these occupations and their families at home waiting, which in turn shows what she, and (R)'s, especially this phony TEA party, think? about us Veterans, All Veterans, as well as National Security!!!!!
America loses, Veterans to Lose Big Time!
Heard any mention from this so called TEA party, those espousing, their spokespersons {cons,grifters,propagandist.........}, their candidates, those reporting on them and their extremist idea's and no policy idea's, Demanding 'Sacrifice', Finally, by the people of this Country as to the Veterans of Wars they've created the past destructive decade, as well as the rest of us Veterans, as they claimed and still do 'support' for our troops, including veterans among them, Me Neither!
The Great Divergence
Finally a few, way to few, are taking about what has been going on and the reasons for! And not much of that growth at the top is being invested for growth in the economy!
With Wars Come Responsibilities
Only ‘fixing’ the VA needs. and has always needed since Korea, is for the Country to Actually Pony Up for the Results of their Wars of Choice, and a strong dose of reality, thus causing the Agency to actually become the Best in the World in Care, Research, Training and more and saving money by doing so!!!!
October 22, 2010 - You can only hope that the very preliminary peace efforts in Afghanistan bear fruit before long. But for evidence that the United States is letting its claim to greatness, and even common decency, slip through its fingers, all you need to do is look at the way we treat our own troops.
The idea that the United States is at war and hardly any of its citizens are paying attention to the terrible burden being shouldered by its men and women in uniform is beyond appalling.
Scoring Congress on Veterans Issues
"Make Agent Orange History"
Director of Ford Foundation's Special Initiative on Agent Orange/Dioxin to deliver message
Oct. 19, 2010 - The 2010 celebration called Make Agent Orange History is a two-part program including a keynote address with Charles Bailey, film screening, and a special educational session presented by the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Matsunaga Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution, William S. Richardson School of Law (Environmental Law and Health Policy Center) and San Francisco-based strategic communications non-profit Active Voice.
Making Veterans a Priority 2007-2010
Yesterday I received an e-mail from the Communications Director of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, Kristal DeKleer. Thank you Kristal for sending this out to the e-mail list, will be passing the information on as I'm sure others will as well.
Also yesterday I used the following in a few posts as related to recent Veterans Administration press releases:
Let me tell ya folks, if the so called repubs, still haven't met one true one in a couple of decades, pick up Any Seats let alone take the House what Shinseki and his Great Admin have been doin will come to a Screeching Halt on many and curtailed on others! This is the Most Pro Active VA in my lifetime!
Soldiers suffer. America sleeps
War rages. Soldiers suffer. America sleeps
October 19, 2010 - How is it possible for a country to be at war on two fronts for nearly a decade and not be plunged into constant fits of epic soul-searching? Whatever trick of light makes it possible to pretend "We, the People" have nothing to do with wars waged in our name overseas also blinds us to its tragic legacies at home.
In a little more than two weeks, a nation suffering from willful amnesia about Iraq and Afghanistan will either vote for new representatives who share their myopia -- or retain those incumbents most skilled at exploiting it.
If polls are to be believed, these wars are too low on the list of voter priorities to prompt much turnout on Election Day. Although more than a trillion dollars has been spent on the wars, that's an unthinkable abstraction to the vast majority of us.
Up the Revolution!: Arise Ye Homeowners of America, You Have Nothing to Lose but Your Mortgages!
By Dave Lindorff
The American Revolution, for all the pious talk about freedom and the Rights of Man, was at bottom simply a matter of people not wanting to pay their taxes. It was about rank self interest, and it was a powerful movement.
That rank self-interest could spark a new revolution--hopefully one that will still also advance the cause of freedom and the Rights of Man.
Two issues are rushing to the fore that could have most Americans grabbing pitchforks, guns, shovels, bats, mop handles, and whatever else they have handy that could be useful in the streets.
No on 23: Stop the Dirty Energy Proposition
Please join Global Green in OPPOSING Proposition 23 which will appear on the California ballot on November 2, 2010.
Two Texas oil companies are spending millions to push Prop. 23, a deceptive initiative that would kill California clean energy and air pollution control standards.
Four years ago, with support from businesses, labor, environmental and health organizations California passed a clean air law – AB 32 – that holds polluters accountable and requires them to reduce air pollution that threatens human health and contributes to global climate change. Global Green successfully fought for language in AB 32 that provides direct benefit to low income communities (Section 38565 of the legislation). {rest found here}
Deception and Devastation: The Ignored Dark-Sides of Suffering Joblessness
By Linn Washington
Two of my oldest and dearest friends in life are unemployed and suffering – facing full-blown collapse monetarily and mentally.
Both have graduate degrees, multiple skills, commendable work records and zero job search success despite diligently scouring every source available during the past two years.
Oh, another important factor in the equation of my friends’ exile from employment ranks. Both friends are over fifty, a seeming Bestial Mark during this era when brazen age discrimination trumps traditional discrimination based on race, gender and disability.
Amplifying the anguish my friends harbor already from feeling their joblessness is somehow their fault are increasing reports that employers are refusing to hire unemployed people, citing their jobless status as evidence of their worthlessness as employees.
Veterans Group Files FEC Complaint Against The Chamber:
Foreign Funds Pose 'Clear And Present Danger' To U.S. Democracy
18 October 2010 - Nonprofits, now emboldened to raise and spend unlimited amounts of money on with no disclosure this election cycle, are beginning to face complaints at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Federal Election Commission (FEC). While most of these complaints have come from campaign finance reform groups, a veterans organization is jumping into the fray.
On Monday, the Veterans' Alliance for Security and Democracy (VetPAC) filed an FEC complaint against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to the FEC, alleging that the organization's potential use of foreign funds for political purposes represents a "clear and present danger to our democracy." From the letter to the FEC, obtained by The Huffington Post:
Nearly Helpless
By Missy Comley Beattie
I call one of my sons and say, “Listen, I have something to tell you."
He says, “As long as it isn’t about bedbugs.”
Expertly, with parental precision, I slickly shift from the bedbug scene in my head to one of the many issues among a plethora of plagues (POP). I talk about the “Emergency Call to Action” email I received about stopping hate, hatred of gays, hatred of Muslims, hatred of anything that is not sliced, white-bread, Bible-thumping, heterosexual America—this climate of shameful rhetoric, leading to violence, even in New York City, the location I love, and the place I see when I think of tolerance.
