We Remember the Victims of the U.S. Global War on Terror
By Debra Sweet, Director of World Can't Wait In the days after 9/11/01, as the dust hung over lower Manhattan and a frantic search continued for those who died in the World Trade Center, thousands of Muslims were rounded up by the U.S. government and held in detention indefinitely, many to be deported.
President Bush promised a “war on terror” that would be a “lengthy campaign unlike any other we have ever seen.” He barked to the world, “Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists.”
A group of artists acted first, coming together to deliver a different message to the world:
“Our grief is not a cry for war!”
Within weeks, the Bush regime invaded Afghanistan, saying “make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them,” and began to manufacture lies to justify attacking Iraq, a country with no connection to 9/11.
In 2002, people living in the United States joined with millions around the globe in the largest protests in history against a coming war. Not In Our Name! we said, as we prevented Bush from invading Iraq with coalition he wanted.
But the U.S. “war on terror” destroyed whole countries, and is being spread further by a Democratic administration to include drone bombings in six countries; international law has been and is being trampled to justify torture, indefinite detention and murder at Bagram, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo and at black sites; domestic political repression and surveillance ensued to unimagined levels in the “brightest beacon for freedom in the world.”
As the world remembers 3,000 people killed in the United States on 9/11, we remember the victims of the U.S. led “global war on terror;” from the uncounted civilians killed by U.S. bombs, to those targeted in pre-emptive prosecutions, rotting in U.S. prisons, and the core civil liberties and rights of the people that have been disappeared.
Once again, it’s time for the artists of the world to cry out in protest and grief with a different message to the people of the world: All this has not been done in our names! We rededicate ourselves to resist the machinery of war and repression and rally others to do everything possible to stop it.

I am still amazed after a decade of work that so many "artists" of the world still refuse to acknowledge the 600 pound Kosher gorilla in the room when it comes to the TRUTH about 9-11 and the "WAR OF TERROR".
Why did so many "artists" easily swallow the "Crazy Muslim Fanatics In Caves" BIG LIE of the "Official 9-11" narrative . . .as witnessed by all those "artistic works" we saw all over this country . . . many paid for by government grant money . . . that merely reinforced the BIG LIE?
Yet, despite all the evidence and FACTS . . . there seems to be an emotionally anchored psychological block when the mere mention of Israeli involvement is made . . .
I wish I had a dollar for everytime some "artist" called me either "crazy" . . . or more often an "anti-Semite" or "racist" for daring to try to present the case for an alternative narrative to "9-11" and the "Global War of Terror".

Personally, I am sick of all these "Art Groups" that enjoy 501(C)(3) Tax Status that act like nothing but "Gate Keepers" in our local communities to keep "9-11 TRUTH" locked out of all festivals and so called "Artists for Peace" events . ..
I have tried for almost 5 years to get on the bill for our local "International Day Of Peace" festival here in Boone, NC. The Elkland "Art" Center co-ordinators of the annual event this year finally admitted that the reason I am not allowed to speak is because "it may upset our Jewish members on the committee and in the community".
Can you be any more obvious than this??? . . . ;-)
This is the same "Art" group that sponsors the yearly "Liberty Parade" for folks who think the U.S. Constitution is outdated and needs to be replaced with a more "European" style government based on "Enviromental Earth Goddess" concerns based on UN Agenda 21 . . . Of course, this "4th of July" parade of Treason is usually financed by government grants, of course . .. no fraud, there, kidz . . . ;-)
How did these artists get so "conditioned"???
One needs merely spend a few hours watching TV or examining modern educational text books to see where this psychological conditioning comes from as one notices the 24x7 bombardment of "Bad Bad NAZI", "MEAN Ol' HITLER", "POOR POOR ANNE FRANK", "THE HOLOCAUST(TM) IS THE ONLY EVENT THAT MATTERS" and "6 MILLION MINUS 2.5 MILLION STILL EQUALS 6 MILLION" programming.
Meanwhile we see "Our Special Friend" is launching what may develop into "Operation Cast Lead II" against the Palestinians based on yet another obvious MOSSAD/IDF "False Flag" operation.

I wonder if our "Artists" can unlock those chains that bind them to truly face THE TRUTH and cry out with a truly DIFFERENT message to the world???
Or will they just continuing being "good" . . . so that Abe Foxman of the ADL won't call them a bunch of "anti-Semites" . . .
. . . after all, they might lose their grant money . . . ;-)
