In the aftermath of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla massacre and world-wide scrutiny of Israel’s attack on and continued siege of Gaza, Israel has mounted a public relations campaign to whitewash the facts. Yet, Gaza is still under siege, an open-air prison for 1.5 million Palestinians, backed by the U.S. government.
This fall, joining a flotilla of ships from around the world, Americans are launching a U.S. boat to Gaza "The Audacity of Hope" http://ustogaza.org/
Join Northern Virginians for Peace and Justice, be part of this historic event.
Listen to enchanting Oud music and singing of Palestinian artist Huda Asfour, and the inspirational music of Perry King.

"Report: Gaza-bound Syrian aid ship sets sail"
by Ma'an news, Sept. 18, 2010
http://www.uruknet.info/?p=m69893
Now this and the aid ships or boats to sail from the U.S. make for quite some action(s) for human rights and justice!
I hope, however, that it doesn't apply for the Palestinians and no one else, because North American Indians continue to be genocided, many indigenous peoples of South American countries, African countries, and others continue to be genocided; and it's all for Corporate America, Corporate U.K., Corporate Europe, and Corporate Israel, and political fiends with power and wanting more power, expansion thereof.
Around 10 million innocent people of the Congo, the Congolese, or Congolesians (how ever they are usually called), have been genocided over the past ten to fifteen years and no one pays any attention to this, except for few people and a highly dedicated investigative reporter named Keith Harmon Snow of Massachusetts, www.allthingspass.com.
I'm greatly glad or elated about the actions for the Palestinians and hope that some of these finally succeed. And I also hope that people who can seriously act don't have blindfolds on with respect to millions of other innocent people who are victims of extreme crimes against humanity because of our so-called governments, the fiend politicians, and our fiend corporate elites. I don't know the details of all of these crimes and related suffering, but I realize that hell has been acting all over this planet for too long and I don't forget any of the situations I do know of. But many or else most other people in the West regularly seem to not even want to know what's going on in other parts of our world, except for places they select to look at.
That's not the way of real activists, who must and do keep in mind that all humans have equal rights; including the criminal elites having the equal right to be tried and sentenced to prison for the rest of their earthly lives for their extreme crimes. It's a right to be tried for our crimes when they are real. We have people wrongly convicted and sentenced to prison, while the the worst of real criminals are the persecutors of the wrongly convicted. That's not the kind of story dreams are made of, but it's our reality.
