The Republic of Korea has been a strong ally and partner in advancing freedom and promoting prosperity in Asia and beyond. The Republic of Korea has played a leading role in the international effort to assist the Iraqi people with security, training, and reconstruction, and now maintains the third largest contingent of forces in Iraq. ROVE in California, 11am: President Bush's senior adviser and deputy chief of staff will present a lecture during an upcoming visit to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. The event with Karl Rove -- who oversees the development of policy, strategic planning, political affairs, public liaison and intergovernmental affairs for the White House -- is set for 11 a.m. June 11. The visit marks the tenth anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic ties in 1995 between the United States and Vietnam.
