It is ridiculous that Cheney would present a journalism award. He and the rest of the administration engaged in a pattern of lies to push the U.S. to launch war against Iraq. One example:

"We know he [Saddam Hussein] has reconstituted these [chemical weapons] programs. We know he's out trying once again to produce nuclear weapons, and we know that he has a long-standing relationship with various terrorist groups, including the al-Qaeda organization."
