Senator Russ Feingold was my hero for quite a while. I'm sorry to say I'm losing respect for Mr. Feingold. A short time back he was a fitter. I really have to say I'm sorry, but I think maybe some one put the arm on him and in one way or another made him chicken out. If he doesn't start talking of Impeachment of Cheney and Bush soon I'm going to start looking for and promoting a replacement for him. Sad, I mean truly sad.
Don't look for heroes in Congress. It's a fool's errand. They are legislators, similar to a large flock of birds, spooked by anything that makes them feel uncomfortable, in their case - loss of "prestige," perks, power and most important their seat in Congress.
Collegiality trumps courage.
Party trumps Constitution.
Feingold kept within the flock last month on the vote to "censure" Iran - a precursor to bombing next sovereign nation. You just can't count on these self-absorbed "defenders of the Constitution."
but if he weren't just a cheap 'puta' with his mouth wrapped around Rove's dipstick, he'd probably actually be a male escort to help Jeff Gannon/Guckert out in the Whore House.
