MORE DAMNING THAN DOWNING STREET

It's bad enough that the Bush administration had so little international support for the Iraqi war that their 'coalition of the willing' meant the U.S., Britain, and the equivalent of a child's imaginary friends.
It's even worse that, as the Downing Street memo confirms, they had so little evidence of real threats that they knew from the start that they were going to have manufacture excuses to go to war. What's more damning still is that they effectively began this war even before the congressional vote.
With Congressman John Conyers about to hold hearings, coverage of the Downing Street memo is finally beginning to leak into the media. In contrast, we've heard almost nothing about the degree to which this administration began actively fighting the Iraq war well in advance of the March 2003 official attack--before both the October 2002 US Congressional authorization and the November United Nations resolution requiring that Saddam Hussein open the country up to inspectors.
I follow Iraq pretty closely, but was taken aback when Unitarian Universalist Service Committee president Charlie Clements described driving in a Baghdad neighborhood six months before the war 'and a building would just explode, hit by a missile from 30,000 feet ''What is that building?'' Clements would ask. ''Oh, that's a telephone exchange.'' Later, at a conference at Nevada's Nellis Air Force Base, Clements heard a U.S. General boast 'that he began taking out assets that could help in resisting an invasion at least six months before war was declared.'
Earlier this month, Jeremy Scahill wrote a powerful piece on The Nation's website, describing a huge air assault in September 2002,
'Approximately 100 US and British planes flew from Kuwait into Iraqi airspace,' Scahill writes. 'At least seven types of aircraft were part of this massive operation, including US F-15 Strike Eagles and Royal Air Force Tornado ground-attack planes. They dropped precision-guided munitions on Saddam Hussein's major western air-defense facility, clearing the path for Special Forces helicopters that lay in wait in Jordan. Earlier attacks had been carried out against Iraqi command and control centers, radar detection systems, Revolutionary Guard units, communication centers and mobile air-defense systems. The Pentagon's goal was clear: Destroy Iraq's ability to resist.'
Why aren't we talking about this? As Scahill points out, this was a month before the Congressional vote, and two before the UN resolution. Supposedly part of enforcing 'no fly zones,' the bombings were actually systematic assaults on Iraq's capacity to defend itself. The US had never declared war. Bush had no authorization, not even a fig leaf. He was simply attacking another nation because he'd decided to do so. This preemptive war preempted our own Congress, as well as international law.
I don't think most Americans know these prewar attacks ever happened, aside from those who've read Scahill's recent piece, or heard him on Democracy Now. I recall no mainline media coverage at the time, and little in the alternative press. The bombings that destroyed Iraq's air defenses were under the radar for both the American media and public.
If coverage of the Downing St memo continues to increase, I suspect the administration will try to dismiss it as mere diplomatic talk, just inside baseball. But they weren't just manipulating intelligence so they could attack no matter how Saddam Hussein responded. They weren't only bribing would-be allies into participation. They were fighting a war they'd planned long before. They just didn't bother to tell the American public.

George W. Bush was Complicit with the 911 Attack on America
Charge of high treason with documentation, including his deceptive response about what he knew at Booker Elementary school and a creepy convergence of finance bigwigs at SAC.

The terrorist attack on America on September 11, 2001 was a tragedy of epic proportions. What few would care to find out is that the President of the United States is implicated strongly in its planning and its outcomes.
The History Channel in recent years did a special on the attack on Pearl Harbor in which it gave documented evidence that President Roosevelt knew that attack was coming and actually allowed it to take place as a way to get Americans behind the war effort.
Other, less glamorous precedents of this phenomenon can be given, such as Hitler's burning of the Reichstag to provide impetus for his war effort.
As an outcome of the 911 attack, we have legislation such as the Patriot Act that significantly curtails fundamental rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Also, the Iraq war has increased U.S. presence and control in the Mideast.
The question of why and to what extent President George W. Bush was involved in the terrorist attack on America will take years of investigation and probing to conclude with any degree of finality. But what can be determined with clarity at this point is that he had foreknowledge, and he had an agenda -- and that his actions amount to high treason.
The following is offered as a partial list of evidences for this charge.
President Bush presented an image to the nation that on the morning of the attack he was going about his usual Presidential itinerary and that he was caught completely by surprise. However, a careful look at the timeline of the attack, and what he would have known with his intelligence sources, shows a premeditated intent to convey such an image with the intent to deceive.
By the time he responded, it was too late to stop three of the four planes. Most Americans knew about the attack before President Bush responded. Does he expect us to believe that in this day of instantaneous communication available to the lay public that the President of the United States and those who advise him could be so slow to grasp the gravity of the situation?
Fifteen minutes before he went into the Booker Elementary School classroom he confirmed to a reporter that he had been apprised of the first plane hitting the World Trade Center -- a known terrorist target. He was again briefed at the Elementary School.
By this time, NORAD knew of at least two hijackings and possibly a third; and such information would have been available to the President.
Then, moments before entering the classroom he watched live footage as the second plane hit the second tower. Nevertheless he continued with the education photo-op. Two or three minutes later Andrew Card came up to President Bush while he was reading to the children, and told him, "A second plane has hit the World Trade Center. America is under attack."

Bush continued with the children for at least seven more minutes reading with them about a girl and her goat. His departure from the classroom was not in haste.

When later asked by a reporter what he was doing and how he responded when he found out about the attack, his reply was worded to gave the impression that he saw the first plane hit, and then heard a few minutes later that a second plane had hit, and that he didn't want to scare the children, so he did not interrupt his event with them.
He said, in part, "I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on, and I used to fly myself, and I said, 'There's one terrible pilot.' and I said, 'It must have been a horrible accident.' "
He could not have seen the first plane hit because that image did not come forth until later. The timing was such that it would have been the second plane he saw --hitting the second tower while the first tower was billowing smoke from the first hit.
That alone proves he was lying about how much he knew -- at a minimum from the TV coverage that millions of other Americans were also watching -- and that he was purposely conveying an image of naivety, when the truth was that he knew much more and purposely did nothing.
He is the only one who could have given permission to U.S. military jets to intercept and shoot down the hijacked planes thereby averting every target hit after the first. It is likely that he knew that other hijacked planes were in the air, and he could have given the command to intercept and shoot down if necessary. His known behavior constituted gross negligence at best, and given what he most probably knew, treason.
Meanwhile, that same morning, Warren Buffett, the world's second richest man, worth $36.0 billion, was at the U.S. Strategic Command headquarters located at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha Nebraska (SAC), where the President was later spirited that day. Buffet had scheduled this event in advance.
One of the people invited to his event was Anne Tatlock, the chief executive of Fudiciary Trust Co. International, that manages $44 billion. Her office space in the World Trade Center happened to be precisely where the second plane hit.
She was en route to SAC when she learned of the first attack, and arrived at the Omaha, Nebraska base just in time to be rushed by military personnel into a room where she watched the second plane hit her office space, killing 87 of her 650 employees.
Think of it this way. The whole world watched the events of Sept. 11 replayed over and over, especially the segment in which the second plane ran into the second tower. That spot on the second tower where the plane hit was Anne Tatlock's office space. She, as the chief executive of that office space, was the most relevant person to that attack in terms of its target. She was in the air, on her way to Offutt before the attacks commenced that morning; and arrived just in time for military officers to rush her in to where she could watch on television the second plane hit her office complex; and Bush would later that day go to that military base.
Why was Warren Buffett, a civilian, hosting a pre-planned non-publicized charity event at a military center -- the very center where Bush was taken -- and where Tatlock arrived? Buffet is reportedly not famous for charity work, but has somewhat the opposite reputation among his peers.
One must ask who the others of Buffett's financial prowess were in attendance at SAC on that day of the collapse of the World Trade Centers. Did they meet with President Bush. What was the nature of their conversation?
A detailed report of President Bush's day on 911 speak of this incidental meeting of Buffet earlier that day, but say "it's unknown if any of these people were still at Offutt by the time Bush arrived in the afternoon." (cooperativeresearch.net; San Francisco Business Times, 2/1/02; Forbes 10/15/01; Wall Street Journal 9/12/01.) Published news reports of Bush's activities at Offutt mention several government individuals who were present with him, and mention that there were "others" as well. (ABC News, 9/11/02, Telegraph, 12/16/01, Washington Times, 10/8/02.)
The foreplanned meeting there of at least two of these players of such global prestige, one of which would be most profoundly effected by the attack, is too striking to dismiss as sheer coincidence.
The likelihood of conspiracy or complicity is too high to ignore. It must be investigated at length.
The country recently watched as Arnold Schwarzenegger won a historic election in California. The prominent heavy weight economic advisors by his side that helped promote public confidence in his campaign was Warren Buffett.
The precedence in history of wealth buying politics for control and expansion of power and gain at the expense of the freedom of the people is too clear to deny as a possible contemporary reality as well. Prophecy likewise speaks of such a beastly cabal that overthrow the freedom of all lands, countries, and peoples. It is that evil collusion of wealth, power and intelligentsia bent on self interest that has brought the downfall of previous civilizations, and which will likewise bring the demise of ours if we continue in our present course.
President Bush is not the leader of this conspiracy, but clearly he is one of its willing players, a fact that can be documented from a host of other evidences spanning back to his initiation into a lifetime membership in the Yale Skull and Bones fraternity. He is certainly not the first U.S. President to be illicitly controlled from behind the scenes.
He was not the one in charge on the morning of September 11. That much is obvious. He was being dictated to by others. But Constitutionally, he was under oath to be the one in charge, and the fact that he knew what was happening and purposely did not take measures to thwart additional attacks, in itself is treason. He could have averted the second and third attacks, but he did not. Instead, he purposely conveyed the image that the gravity of what was happening did not hit him until it was too late.
The call has been going forth to Americans for years to awaken to a sense of their awful situation, and to throw off this secret combination that is getting above them, of which President Bush is yet another low-level player. People typically get the government they deserve or at least allow, and U.S. citizens have gradually been seduced by this international cabal into accepting the intoxications of socialism to which they have grown addicted.
Such an addiction by such a powerful master will be enormously difficult to overcome; but the alternative is destruction on such a scale as this world has never seen -- a prospect that would be far more devastating and excruciating, and which would pale the events of 911 in comparison.
American Politics and other high level corruptions have created a terminal cancer prognosis for this country with a prescription of heavy chemotherapy and radiation treatment, so to speak. I am an alternative medicine candidate who does not believe any cancer has to be terminal. There are alternative remedies, and one of the most important is the belief that a cure is possible -- the will to live . . . and to change.
Let's begin by having more accountability in the U.S. media to investigate these matters and report them honestly to the American people so that we can have a clear diagnosis. Otherwise the media is complicit as well, and will have to answer accordingly.

People typically get the government they deserve or at least allow, and U.S. citizens have gradually been seduced by this international cabal into accepting the intoxications of socialism to which they have grown addicted.
Such an addiction by such a powerful master will be enormously difficult to overcome; but the alternative is destruction on such a scale as this world has never seen -- a prospect that would be far more devastating and excruciating, and which would pale the events of 911 in comparison.
American Politics and other high level corruptions have created a terminal cancer prognosis for this country with a prescription of heavy chemotherapy and radiation treatment, so to speak. I am an alternative medicine candidate who does not believe any cancer has to be terminal. There are alternative remedies, and one of the most important is the belief that a cure is possible -- the will to live . . . and to change.
Let's begin by having more accountability in the U.S. media to investigate these matters and report them honestly to the American people so that we can have a clear diagnosis. Otherwise the media is complicit as well, and will have to answer accordingly.

I heard a segment on the radio today that replayed the toppling of Saddam's statue. I remember how elated I felt at the time it really happened. Today I felt very sad. We should never have been there in the first place and we have just demolished this country. Why are we there? What has Bush done? !
