Pelosi Won't Debate Sheehan, But Cindy Phoned into a Radio Program Nancy Was On
From IndyBay
Pelosi: Good morning Cindy.
Sheehen: Good morning Ms. Pelosi.
Pelosi: Good morning to you.
Sheehan: It´s nice to talk to you.
Pelosi: My pleasure.
Sheehan: Um. Well first you answer the question about the debate which I think that you-- if you really cared about the voters in San Francisco you could find an hour to debate your opponents, because you do have some opponents here in San Francisco. You haven´t had a town hall meeting...
Krasny interrupts: ´Scuse me, Cindy Sheehan, you had a question you wanted to ask the Speaker?
Sheehan: I do. I do. Over 60% of this district in 2006 voted for an impeachment resolution and I just want to know why you haven´t represented the people of your district and why you haven´t impeached George Bush and Dick Cheney. And you still have time.
Krasny: Alright, thank you for that direct question.
Pelosi: Thank you Cindy. First may I commend Cindy for her race for congress and again express the respect that I have for her for her courage in speaking out in what she believes in, so articulately.
The issue of impeachment is a very controversial one in my own caucus and certainly in the country. The idea that if we disagree with the president we should begin impeachment proceedings is one, that is again, controversial. There are those who believe they have the evidence that the president would be convicted if impeached. Um. I don´t know that we have seen that. I have said that the people who would like to see the president impeached the most are the Republicans. They should love to see the Democrats, as soon as we took power, go down the path of impeaching the president, dividing the country, and neglecting what we wanted to do on minimum wage, and children´s health, and veterans´ benefits and the rest of that, because it would totally consume the congress. It is, again, again, controversial, but if I honestly believed that the president had violated the Constitution of the United States, and if my colleagues believed that, I think you would have seen the president impeached.

Thats all I have to say. chris dorsey
Pelosi doesn't want impeachment because it will shine light on the misdeeds of herself and fellow congress people-they are afraid for themselves, they are not concerned for the country as a whole! We need to get rid of them all and make term limits a priority!!!

will live on in the bodies of Pelosi and Reid. The bold-faced text above certifies that Pelosi is the most dangerous person in the Federal government now and, if Cindy's stalwarts can't unseat her, for years to come.
An Obama election really gives me little reason to believe in a less spooky federal government.
"If I honestly believed..." never entered into Pelosi's decision on whether or not to impeach Bushco, that decision was based soley on her getting used to the idea of only deceiving herself, thereby allowing her to ignore all those 39 Articles of Impeachment pending in her 110 Democratic Congress.
By deceiving herself into believing no crimes against the Constitution took place in the last eight years, and by taking the nation's Constitution "off the table" for Bushco just to make sure, she now can fool herself into believing that this impeachment issue is a non-issue for the entire Congress as well.
Pelosi refused to debate Sheehan, but nevertheless, Sheehan poses her question and gets an answer.
The debate is on and the voters can now decide for themselves.
resolution and I just want to know why you haven´t represented the people of your district?
the above was the question Sheehan asked.
Pelosi's answer was "if 'I' honestly believed"
The problem is that Pelosi used the 'I' word in her job of representing her constituents (the people who voted for her).
Useing the 'we' word is the responsibility of a representative, like, in we the people.
Pelosi does not represent the persons that voted for her.
She represents the opposing party.

Nancy is happy that Cindy has decided to run against her. So am I. And I am going to be even happier when Cindy wins and displaces Nancy from her throne. Nancy Pelosi does not represent the people of San Francisco, nor does she do a credible job as Speaker of the House. What a total loser that woman is!

Does Pelosi HONESTLY believe that we, the peons, are soooo stupid to believe she does not know the criminal evidence against Bush and Cheney, because if SHE is really THAT stupid, then Nancy Pelosi should not be running for dog catcher of San Francisco. Her condescending crap is bigger than a pile of dog poop.
Kudos to Cindy, and the radio host did a very good job too!
Edit to add: I have witnessed Cindy's strength, passion and convictions online for three years now (I imagine Cindy is powerfully charismatic in person). I have no doubt that she can criminally prosecute Bush and Cheney AND take care of voting carefully on each and every one of America's issues as well. It should be noted that unfortunately Cindy will not be Speaker of the House, but Cindy IS a strong voice of peace, justice and issues concerning AlL Americans.
IMPEACH BUSHCO & RICO PNAC/FARA AIPAC...PNAC is Bush/Cheney's "Helter Skelter" !
UNITE IN SOLIDARITY > WE MUST DEFEAT MCCAIN!!!
We can still make life very unpleasant for Pelosi by lobbying for her impeachment.
Please remember, many are still unaware of Pelosi's torture scandals. Her wretched efforts to distract with "noise" will no longer protect her from long overdue accountability. 12 TERMS? We cannot allow her to get away with it and neither will Americans once they become aware of what kind of a two faced liar she really is. And they will.
The days of organized crime are soon to be over.
Be real, whether Earthling or not* Pelosi, you lying SCUM,prison for all of you!!!!!!!!!
