Where's the patriotism over there at the Daily Kos? Right out of the gate, the first asshole is arguing against this impeachment, yet offers no argument. Just a "I'll be glad Jan. 20 comes so this impeachment crap ends". Mr. Lopez' warning is falling on deaf ears by dumbasses and yet the anti-impeachment bozo's outnumber the REAL Democrats and Liberals. I used to have a modicum of respect for DK. Fuck DK. The bean counters over there are way more happy counting votes and making neato graphs than actually doing something civically responsible. It's not the rethugs you have to watch nearly as much as the DINO's in our Party. And when impeachment proceedings ARE brought up (you can count on it) against Obama, they will be wailing like the little bitches they are. I'm proud of this website and ashamed for them at that one. Disgusting.
Wait and see. I believe that the neo-cons and others will go after Obama big-time the first chance they get. They will have trouble with impeachment since our democracy is ruled by parties and oili-garcs, not law.
The Dems should take the opportunity they have, but someone has some goods on Conyers and Nancy will not allow anything like accountability to happen to her good friend.

Personally, I think that all three branches of government have been corrupted by class forces, class ideologies, imperial policies and criminality. We should definitely go after the Bush-Republican corporate, imperial fascists as war criminals. But then every democrat who financed endless wars, endless occupations, and support for corporate criminals in the Bail out, not to mention their obstructionist role to impeach, should be included on the impeachment list as a warning that failure to uphold international laws, the Constiutition is itself an impeachable offense. With the Democrats, start off with PELOSI, HARMAN, EMANUEL, AND ALL THE LIBERAL WARHAWKS. IF OBAMA BETRAYS US EVEN FURTHER BY JOINING IN A BI PARTISAN CORPORATE FASCIST ATTACK AGAINST IRAN...HE SHOULD BE TRIED ALONGSIDE BUSH/CHENEY.

You have it right! Your overall perspective of our government is correct.
Lawmakers should stop worrying and obsessing over whether impeachment is partisan or not, and do the job.
When will all this talk of holding BUSH, CHENEY, RICE, and the rest of the BUSH CRIME FAMILY responsible for their wrongdoings end? Why can't we simply say, "Hey BUSH and criminal pals, we know you've TORTURED, we know you've MURDERED, and we know you've done just abut everything you could possibly do to be IMPEACHED, yet we forgive you."? Why can't we just be HAPPY that our savior (President-elect Obama) will be in charge soon and just let the last eight years be forgotten. Who cares if letting these criminals walk gives future presidents the ability to do even more damage than BUSH has done?
Thus all you folks who have finally seen the light and want to forgive BUSH and His cohorts for all they've done please do me a favor. Write them a letter explaining in detail how each of the crimes they've committed mean nothing to you now. And how you are looking forward to the day when someone else exploits the United States of America even worse than they have done. Moreover, while you're at it, why not also send letters to our Criminal Justice System stating ALL inmates should be freed. Just think of the MONEY we'd all save once all the prisons were emptied!
Who are these people that want to argue against the explicit demand for impeachment when high crimes and misdemeanors occur? Talk about shredding our Constitution. I guess there are stupid folks around, but trying to legitimize criminal behavior on the backs of those who would honor our Constitution is plain idiotic. May we now get on with our duty, please?
