Open Letter to Israeli Soldiers
Jews call on Israeli soldiers to stop war crimes
We Jews in the international community call upon Israeli soldiers to raise the Black Flag of Illegality over the operations against the people of Gaza.
We refuse to remain silent while Israeli leaders force Israeli soldiers to commit war crimes: crimes against humanity for which they will one day be called to account. Israeli soldiers of conscience can, and must, stop this dangerous, illegal, and immoral war.
This criminal activity does nothing to advance the health and welfare of Jews. Rather, from Sderot to Sydney, from Ashkelon to Amsterdam, we will all benefit when there is justice for Palestinians.
Therefore, we call on you to use all measures possible to stop these atrocities against the Palestinian people. Flagrantly illegal orders must not simply be disobeyed, but actively and effectively opposed.
We members of the international Jewish community call on you, the Israeli soldiers of conscience, to halt the Israeli war machine, which only you can, and must, do.

"Gaza Strip resembles a concentration camp, says top Vatican official
By Carol Glatz

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- The Gaza Strip increasingly is looking like "a big concentration camp" while egoism, hatred, poverty and injustice are fueling the continual slaughter in the Holy Land, said a top Vatican official.
"We are seeing a continual massacre in the Holy Land where the overwhelming majority has nothing to do with the conflict, but it is paying for the hatred of a few with their lives," said Cardinal Renato Martino, head of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.
"Let's look at the conditions in Gaza: It's looking more and more like a big concentration camp," he said in an interview published Jan. 7 in the Italian online newspaper IlSussidiario..."
hey good idea. lets also write a letter to the people attacking israel to stop launching attacks from civilian populated areas. civilian/noncombatant casualties are the most horrible elements of a war. israel is rightly fighting for their right to exist. their enemies are wrongly involving civilians on both sides. plus israeli chicks are smokin hot. cmon
