Please join us for a major fundraising event on Sunday, January 17, 2010, to benefit Rebecca Schneider for Congress, 2010.
David Swanson will discuss and sign copies of "Daybreak: Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union"
Rebecca Schneider, Democratic Candidate, AZ CD 6, will speak as well, and the event will raise funds for her campaign.
Enjoy a gourmet buffet dinner at the beautiful Windemere Hotel and Conference Center, 5750 East Main St.• Mesa, Arizona 85205, a 3 hour open bar, and get to hear best-selling author, David Swanson, discuss his book, "Daybreak: Undoing the Imperial Presidency and Forming a More Perfect Union".
This will be David's only stop in Arizona. Donors enjoying dinner or the cocktail hour will also receive a signed copy of David's book.
Dinner, cocktails and presentation: $250 donation/sponsorship - begins at 5 pm;
Open bar cocktails and presentation: $100 donation (still receive a signed book) - begins at 7 pm;
General admission: $25 donation with a cash bar and opportunity to purchase the book - begins at 8 pm.
Special guests and dignitaries will be joining us and will be announced later.

Rebecca Schneider, a fiesty progressive democratic peace candidate, willing to restore the Constitution and protect our Constitutional rights, pulled in nearly forty percent of the vote during the last 2008 mid term elections without an official endorsement from the AZ Democratic Party and without a single dollar from the DCCC.
Voters in AZ District 6, third largest in the United States, are looking for a change and ready for a change, many, perhaps a majority of voters, are sick of the rubber stamp Jeff Flake, supporting everything for the Bush/Cheney Republican Party and agenda, a servile, obedient, unquestioning fluke, but fiercely opposing everything put forward by Democracts, even good things the demorcrats favor, like Health Care For Kids, which he voted against on every occassion. Fluke is a Party devotee and not giving the voters in AZ District 6 the representation they need to live in dignity and peace as law abiding American citizens, having supporting every credible crime that Cheney/Bush committed against the American people and the Constitution..link

Rebecca could whip Jeff Flake at the debate rostrum and at the ballot box if she had some official endorsements from the DCCC and the AZ Dem Party-Flake declined to debate during the last election cycle believing his office is guaranteed to him in perpetuity by the Republican juggernat in Arizona politics, and vast family connections/wealth in AZ politics, complete with the total support of McCain, Kyl, and the AZ Republican Party.
