okay i understand wanting to impeach gee dubya, but "because he lied"??? honestly? i mean i'm sure you are all the same people that when someone said "impeach clinton, because he lied under oath" you were like, "his personal life doesn't have anything to do w/ the presidency" which i agree with, but no one said "impeach him because he slept cheated on his wife" well i'm sure some people did, but not in this comment, no, it was said "impeach him because he lied" so, let us remain consistent... i'll agree bush needs to be impeached, but not because he lied, but because he has consistantly broken the law and left our civil liberties seeming more like something one would find in a fairy tale than something out of real, everyday life.
This isn't about lying. The Conyers report details the evidence of serious crimes. It's not "he lied, so impeach him." It's about high crimes, violating the oath of office, and bringing the nation into an illegal war, violating treaties, advocating torture, and illegally covering up all of the above and more. You mention some of this in your post, so it makes no sense to claim this is "because he lied??? honestly?" What's your point exactly?
