Family Tradition
Compassionate conservatives have been a real close family, But lately some of my kinfolks have disowned a few others and me. I guess it's because I kind of changed my direction. Lord I guess I went and broke their family tradition. They get on me and want to know, Dubya, why don't you think? Why are you such a dope? Why must you live out the plans that PNAC wrote? Over and over everybody feels my inflictions. So if I start wars, I'm just carrying on an old family tradition. I am very proud of my granddad's name All though his kind of fascism and mine ain't exactly the same. Stop and think it over. Put yourself in my position. If I sieze more power and start more wars it's a family tradition. So don't ask me, Dubya why don't you think? Dubya, why are you such a dope? Why must you live out the plans that Dick Cheney wrote? If I'm down in an Iraqi quagmire oil slick, don't try to give me friction. I said leave me alone or I'll start another war: it's a family tradition. Lord I have lied some big lies and I have wasted lots of lives And my granddad backed a coup in 1933. When that reporter asked me, Dubya, what about accountability? I said, hey paparazzi, I'm just carrying on an ole family tradition. So don't ask me, Dubya why don't you think? Dubya, why are you such a dope? Why must you live out the plans that Chevron wrote? Stop and drink it over, put yourself in my unique dry drunk position. If I sieze more power and start more wars, it's a family tradition!

by david swanson: Can't buy you votes, votes Can't buy you votes You can forget my vote, my friend, if you support this war I'll laugh at your ads, my friend, if you support this war 'Cause all you care about is money, but money can't buy you votes If the other guy is for the war, how can you be for it too? I don't vote for corporate whores, and I sure won't vote for you So go ahead and spend your money, money can't buy you votes Can't buy you votes, everybody tells me so Can't buy you votes, no mo do, ho Say you'll oppose this evil war, and I'll be by your side I'll help you find a million votes that money just can't buy Just stop caring so much for money, money can't buy you votes

Help afterdowningstreet.org raise money with a song! US-THE BAND (from the S.F. Bay Area) has written a truly great protest song for modern times. It's called "How Did This Country Get So Bad? (I 1 2 NO!)", and it will make you smile, clap your hands, and stomp your feet (unless you are a Bush supporter, of course!). The song is available for a $1.00 download (plus a 33-cent PayPal transaction fee) at www.ustheband.com And from now through the end of September, 100 percent of all proceeds will be donated to afterdowningstreet.org to help spread the word about this VERY important document which proves without a doubt that Bush is guilty of an impeachable offense: sending American armed forces into war based on deliberately manufactured false evidence - that is, LIES!

Takin' My Country Back Author: David A. Kent Country music's got mamas and daddys We got bar rooms and old heartbreak songs But I'm here today to stand up and say How I feel about my home sweet home What's left, what's right and what's wrong...and I'm taking my country back Son, you ain't been doin' her right Oh, I been watchin' you and I don't like How you've been treatin' my stars and stripes You took our jobs and sent 'em overseas Now we owe billions to the red Chinese You blew the budget and you botched Iraq So I'm taking my country back. We had a bundle in the treasury drawer More than there had ever been there before But every day we're drownin' deeper in dept Maybe four years should be all you get Then you gave tax breaks to the millionaires And tried to make the workin' man pay But you can't tax a man when his jobs not there Now look at where we are today...hey I'm taking my country back Son, you ain't been doin' her right Oh I been watchin' you and I don't like How you been treatin' my stars and stripes You've got too many fancy friends for me The Saudis treat you like you're royalty You blew the budget and you botched Iraq Now I'm takin' my country back Now I can understand why you were hot 'Cause Bin Laden never did get caught So you said we had Saddam to blame Tried to tell us it was all the same But now the years roll by and our kids keep dyin' You don't even have a plan to bring 'em home And those W.M.D. you promised on T.V. Hey admit it, you figured it wrong...so I'm takin' my country back Now you don't know my name, but you know who I am I'm your everyday work hard, play hard Raise kids and pray hard common man And lord knows I love this land...that's why I'm taking my country back Son, you ain't been doin' her right Oh I been watchin' you and I don't like How you been treatin' my stars and stripes You say "unite" but you divide us more Cussin' each other on the Senate floor Ain't we supposed to be above all that? Hey I'm taking my country back I got my family and my church and flag... Now I'm takin' my country back Copyright 2004 David A. Kent LISTEN

"Turn The Boat Around" Listen to mp3. Turn The Boat Around Music by: Loudon Wainwright, III Lyrics by: Robert Clayton & Ed Drone Our leader landed on the deck to show us his allure, A banner hanging over him, the victory assured, But San Diego could be seen right there in the background, So the order soon was given to turn the boat around. It’s time to turn the boat around, that’s what we say today, The course our leader’s setting is exactly the wrong way, The compass reads “disaster,‿ he’s run us hard aground, It’s time to get rid of that Skipper, and turn the boat around. He claimed that he’d found danger, as plain as white and black, And the home of all that danger was in far-away Iraq, Weapons, terror, poison gas, “nuke-yuh-ler‿ missiles, too, All waiting, primed and ready, to use on me and you. So we went in a-shootin’ and tore ‘em a new one, With bought-and-paid-for “press‿ along, to show us all the fun, We never found those weapons, the poison gas and such, And the folks whose land we shot to hell don’t like us very much. It’s time to turn the boat around, that’s what we say today, The course our leader’s setting is exactly the wrong way, The compass reads “disaster,‿ he’s run us hard aground, It’s time to get rid of that Skipper, and turn the boat around. Now here at home our policies are tilted toward the rich, With deficits and tax cuts, it’s the same old bait and switch, But here’s how they will fix it all to help both you and me, They’ll spend the dough and take it from Social Security (and Medicare). He was decked out in his flight suit for that photo op, He’s out to sink the ship of state and he can’t seem to stop, But if we can turn a battleship around to fool the press, Then we can turn this country ‘round and get out of this mess. It’s time to turn the boat around, that’s what we say today, The course our leader’s setting is exactly the wrong way, The compass reads “disaster,‿ he’s run us hard aground, It’s time to get rid of that Skipper, and turn the boat around.

The Music.
In the real World
Out in the country -- the cities and towns ----People are talking some things gone wrong
We are just average folks -----we work hard each day --- we raise up our families
the American way
We’ve always flown the flags --- that’s how it should be ------- Out in the real world We love liberty
I’ve been watching the news and it’s troubling to me no one’s responsible
for anything
I wake up each morning and open my eyes I turn on the news and I look to the skies
God are you watching and what do you think no one’s responsible for anything
Out in the real world we admit our mistakes we’re judged on correcting them
and how long it takes
But it’s nice to be kings --- you don’t have to care ----something goes wrong --- the buck stops over there
Break
Out in the country ------ the cities and towns ----People are talking some things going on
We went to Iraq -----to find WMD ---- who made that up -- you told it told to me
Out in the real world --- when you don’t tell the truth---- we call it a lie it’s not just some goof.
Ties to Ben laden--- another small goof --- anything is possible -----when you leave out the truth
I’ve been to the war -------and I’ve heard it said ------ if you follow a fool ----- you’ll end up dead
Mission accomplished -- another small goof --- any things possible --- if you leave out the truth
I’ll end this song with 2 final thoughts thousands of kids dead and what have we bought
We can’t find Ben laden --- at least so far ----- but hurray for America ----- we found water on mars
Say Good Night
We’re falling into a deep dark hole --- our minds are spinning and we’re loosing control
We’ve found ourselves in a real bad dream We struggle to wake up and we want to scream
The politicians have all sold out We’re trying to wake up we want to shout
Day by day we loose our constitution As we sleep on in the great elusion
The corporations own the medias They spin the facts as they program us
We have two parties so how’s to blame It’s time to face the facts they are both the same
><
The corporations have taken control America the beautiful is loosing her soul
We’ve been sleeping for a long, long time We’ve got to wake up to what’s going on
We bomb for peace and democracy In the real world that’s hypocrisy
We learned of poisons in our vaccines The corporations own the voting machines
We’ve fought in wars and a revolution We’ve paid the price for our constitution
It was protection for the common man A set of rules for our government
If we keep sleeping like we have been say good night to your children
To the tune of the Battle Hymm of the Republic
THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE!
Mine eyes have seen the falling of the towers on the shore.
They have borne the tragic vision of a horror we abhor.
The suppression of the media is what we can't ignore.
The truth shall set us free!
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
The truth shall set us free!
Yes, and something hit the Pentagon on that appointed day.
But the facts don't fit the stories that the government would play.
And the media just goes along with what they have to say.
The truth shall set us free.
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
The truth shall set us free!
What a hold the New Pearl Harbor has upon the common man.
It created heartfelt feelings and a focus for our land.
It was consciously ignited and a burning flame was fanned.
The truth shall set us free.
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
The truth shall set us free!
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
Tell the truth to all the people.
The truth shall set us free!
The truth shall set us free!

DON'T THINK TWICE
Don’t think twice, about the life you lead
Must be nice, that someone else will bleed
Fear is all around, terror’s on the rise
The stars and stripes a waving fills our patriotic hearts with pride
Don’t think twice
Don’t think twice, about the wars we wage
Don’t compromise, no that’s a big mistake
Freedom’s on the march, God is on our side
Be sure to say a prayer for those courageous souls we’ve sacrificed
Don’t think twice
Don’t think twice, about the lives we take
Wrong or right, it’s got to be our way
So that we may live, thousands have to die
Say the pledge and tell yourself that we were surely justified
Don’t think twice
Don’t think twice, it isn’t up to you
Close your mind; pretend it’s just not true
These colors never run; we’re not afraid to fight
Especially if someone else is gonna have to pay the price
Don’t think twice

WE"RE THE ENEMY
I'm tired of hatred I'm tired of war I'm tired of killing when we're not quite sure what the killing is for
God bless America we're not to blame Do you think if he cares when we kill in his name?
Land of the free Home of the brave A nation cries old glory waves
How many more will have to die? Until we open up our eyes
What will it take until we see? We're the enemy
We pledge allegiance to corporate greed We will kill for the right to control all the oil that we need
We will reap what we sow yes an eye for an eye Will you think that it's right when it's your child that dies?
Land of the free Home of the brave A nation cries old glory waves
How many more will have to die? Until we open up our eyes
What will it take until we see? We're the enemy
Do as we say Not as we do If you don't then the time will soon come when we're coming for you
If we're silent we're sinners We must take a stand
Or repeat the mistakes we made in Vietnam
Another time Another place A nation cried Old glory waved
Lessons learned forgotten fast From the not so distant past
What will it take until we see?
We're the enemy

CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE
Disturbing visions of flag- covered coffins each day United we stand while they're warring our future away
The spin doctors dance while our young men continue to die All for the sake of the corporate American pie
It's a conspiracy of silence And it's breaking us down In a conspiracy of silence The truth won’t be found
The president seems to have dangerous thoughts in his head His war-minded handlers are pushing him over the edge
Protecting the interests of all their industrial friends The sins of the father repeating all over again
It's a conspiracy of silence And it's holding us down In a conspiracy of silence The truth can't be found
Remind us again How September eleventh Will justify all of your Unjustifiable wars
It's time we demanded they answer the questions they've dodged And make them give back to us all of the freedoms they've robbed
The seeds of big brother have started to take root and spread And if we don't rise up we'll find our democracy's dead
It's a conspiracy of silence And it's keeping us down In a conspiracy of silence The truth can't be found
It's a conspiracy of silence And it's tearing us down
In a conspiracy of silence…
I wrote this song, Soldiers Of Peace and dedicated it to Cindy Sheehan, who, as you all know, lost her son to The Regime in Washington.
I sent it to her, she listened to it and told me that she appreciated it.
I'm honored, but hope that someday songs like Soldiers Of Peace won't have to be written because what happened to Casey and far, far too many of our brothers and sisters will never happen again. Until that day comes, this is what we have to work toward.
Soldiers of peace sending troops to do their fighting.
They run the wars in their white shirts and ties.
They say, “It’s for your country, it’s a wrong you’re righting.

A soldier’s story
I was 19 years old / when I went off to war ---- I fought in the jungles, And I don’t know what for
Now I’ll tell you a story for other young men
Who I fought in those jungles we fought hand to hand
I never knew them ------ their children or wives --- I lost my conscience they lost their lives
Now even today -------- as I go to sleep ----- they still fights on -----I will never be free
The reason I mention ----- these other young men --- Is they died for a lie we call Viet Nam
Sometimes at night ----- they comes to my dreams ---- we stair at each other for ever it seems
When it’s my time to go ------ and I leave this land ----- I pray that we meet - and we walk hand to hand
Here is a secret ------ I’m now ready to share ---- you don’t have to die to loose your life there
We deserve the truth when we go to war why are we dieing and who is it for
Mothers and fathers look at your sons --- please realize what they can become Lost in a war, based on a lie, a life time of dreams, with tears in their eyes
Wars just a game for men behind desks --- while kids get shot and bleeding to death
For solders like me we’ll just fade away you can still save the children speak out today
Mothers and fathers I pray you can see your children in body bags is not all they can be.
We deserve the truth when we go to war why are we dieing and who is it for
Mothers and fathers look at your sons please realize what they can become Lost in a war, based on a lie, a life time of dreams, with tears in your eyes
Did we all die in vain
I’m an old soldier ------ and I have my dreams
past soldiers visit ----- this message they bring
You are loosing your country ---- a little each day
our leaders have sold off ------- The American way
We are just soldiers ------ who have died in your wars
We have fought in your battles ---- and what was it for
Look to your children ----- oh say can’t you see
the reason we’ve died was ----- so they could live free
We are asking you now ----- to open your eyes
turn off your Tv’s ----- and realize
Freedom is fading and your loosing time break the programming
Open your minds
Your loosing your country ----------- You don’t seem to care
you only have free speech ------ if you stand over there
<<<<<<<<<
We are just soldiers ------ who have died in your wars
We have fought in your battles ------ can you tell us what for
We have been silent ---- for way to long
but your in denial ----- that there something is wrong
You are loosing your country ----------- oh say can’t you see
You must get involved --------------------- if you want to live free
We are asking you now ---- to look to your soul
forget you difference ----- And let’s become whole
Now look at your children -------------- soon you’ll have to decide
will you fight for their freedoms -- or will you follow the lies
Come out and join us --------- we will all take hands
A circle of freedom ------------------ Across our great land
When it’s time to decide ----- what’s it going to be
will you join in the --- Battle or fall to your knees
We are just a solider ---- and we’ve bared the pain
It’s up to you now --------- did we all die in vain
Oh why can’t you see
Did we all die in vain
I’m an old soldier ------ and I have my dreams
past soldiers visit ----- this message they bring
You are loosing your country ---- a little each day

Mad Cowboy Disease
Scat sing:
Boom bop a dittly bop a doup a dop boom 2X
You know it’s kind oF Sci-Fi… what’s happening today
A Zombie epidemic has hit the USA
You get it through your TV. Listen well, I’ll tell you how
It attacks you in the brain like contaminated cow! (Moo!)
It’s just like in the movie…Night of the Living Dead
One day when you wake up… you’re cracked up in the head!
It happens when you fall asleep in front of your TV’s…
And when you start believing bull you’ve got Mad Cowboy Disease!
Chorus:
Mad Cowboy Disease! Mad Cowboy Disease!
You won’t find them funny when they go on killin’ sprees…
Mad Cowboy Disease! Mad Cowboy Disease!
Please put them all in padded cells, and throw away the keys!
The symptoms of Mad Cowboy can lead to travesties
Like lying just to justify bombing who you please
Mad Cowboy can be fatal…it can make you paranoid
It can make you maladjusted… a person to avoid!
You rave against the “terrorists

Cheney's in the Bunker is based on David Ray Griffin's book, The 9/11 Commission: Omissions and Distortions. A controversial song like this needs some footnotes to back it up. Footnotes follow the lyrics. The song can be heard under new songs: www.zydecoplanet.com
Cheney’s in the Bunker/Do the Orders Still Stand?
Cheney’s in the bunker. Now we’re under attack(1)
Someone seized our jets in a terror hijack…
They flew into the Towers with a mighty impact
The Trade Center fell in a total collapse!
Now Bush is in the classroom for a photo-op show
The story of the goat is what he wants “kids

Well, first came the troops that were trained in Santo Domingo
They were US equipped and organized to overthrow
The FRAPH(1) death squads and the outlawed Haitian army
Were unleashed like mad dogs on the civil society
From the sea came marines of the ever-menacing Yankees
They took Port-au-Prince and they broke Haiti down to her knees
The “Frappers
I met Cindy Sheehan via email shortly after a poem dedicated to her son Casey was posted on the Mount Diablo Peace Center Message Board.
I was so moved by the poem, that I dedicated a song which I had written, "Soldiers Of Peace to her and to the memory of Casey.
I've now stepped out onto a limb by writing a song specifically in memory of Casey. I've not be able to contact Cindy recently bacause, to all of our benefits, the nation and the world are now listening to her and to her message.
So, if Cindy doesn't per chance here this song, I would appreciate it if someone who's in the position to know would tell me if I'm way off base with my description of Casey. One thing that I don't want to do is to misrespresent Casey in any way.
Casey's Song
Listen, if you like.
He grew up in the suburbs
an ordinary kid.
Was friendly and respectful
in everything he did.
Was proud to be a Boy Scout
and parade his uniform.
Learned self respect and discipline
and learned how to conform.
He had a group of friends and
he loved his family.
Was proud of where he lived and
the fact that he was free.
He knew that God would catch him
if he ever fell
He knew that God would never send
an altar boy to hell.
He solemnly swore on his honor
to be true to leaders and State.
He promised to keep himself healthy.
He swore to be morally straight.
He signed on as a Jarhead
because of what they said.
They overstated honor,
shoved glory in his head.
If he’d only be willing
he could be all he could be.
He’d surely make his family proud
and make some country free.
In boot camp they reformed him.
They readied him for war.
They taught him how to hate, check
compassion at the door.
He learned his life depended
on obeying their command.
Conformity was needed to
accomplish what they planned
He knew he’d be safeguarding freedom.
He believed in what he was told.
His country would never deceive him
but soon it began to unfold
He went out on a mission,
the purpose wasn’t clear.
He learned he shouldn’t question.
He learned to hide his fear.
Within his mind he wondered.
He couldn’t stop his heart
from hammering his chest so hard
he thought he’d blow apart
He thought he was safeguarding freedom
but doubt was invading his brain.
The landscape was war’s revelation,
the anguish, the torture, the pain.
He signed on as a Jarhead
because of how they lied.
If he knew then the things he learned
he never would have died.
To friendship,
Michael
“War is a quarrel between two thieves too cowardly to fight their own battle.
A seven minute 30 second trance ambient remix of Nine Inch Nails "That Hand That Feeds". Loads of "bushisms", Cindy Sheehan audio, and two protest chants ("Impeach Bush!" and "What Noble Cause!" are sampled into this piece. With some of the sampled audio playing off Trent Reznors lyrics, as does the music ("do you want to change it?").
The goal was to rollercoaster the listener through several stages of hope and doom emphasized by the nature of the music and the audio samples. The goal is to leave listeners fired up who are "sick and tired of this" war, while providing warning for those who dont quite get it yet. The song overall had to be genuinely listenable and actually a pleasant experience after all is said and done. The hope is that this was achieved somewhat.
This song was remixed by me after 3 days and nights at Camp Casey changed my life last August.
Feedback is always welcomed.
Peace Now,

P.S. I am still looking for other mirrors and/or hosts, I also encourage anyone who likes it to share it as much as you can as Nine Inch Nails basically released the original song into public domain for others to remix (as long as someone isn't making money off it and I wont be). There will also be a second more popular sounding radio edit version in the near future that will have a much more "rock" edge to it.

Hey Mr. President was recorded live and is in poor quality because E.J. HatAttacks recorded this song, so people would get the full effect of him singing his song in his small cabin, in the back country of Maine, Using an open microphone, Acoustic guitar, and a computer.

Sung to the tune “Fifty Ways to Leave Your Lover
Dare to Dream Dare to do
Dare to dream whilst you're awake
Dare to imagine waging wars against wars with peaceful remedies
For we know that wars have always begat more wars
And no more wars is nowhere insightful for flights to mars
The final solution is not more cars
that could have burned cleaner had not greedy history's
Race based plunderers split assunder
under the thumb of the Man
Divided but unconquered
We have heard the word of the Lord and that is
they wave a sword in the face of the Prince of Peace
Their words do not match purported purposes
Ya they preach while teaching lawlessness I said
Yoyoyoyo wassup wittat?
They preach as they teach lawlessness
Yoyoyoyo wassup wittat?
And the messenger that's sent keeps wishing he'd
beam me up Scotty
The Snotty little dodging witness stands
Defending the man who stole 2000 and 2004
Untried defendant has struck America before
What's more
What's more?
6 ports 6 ports
Hussein
I'm sane
Why attack Iraq?
And purport that you support
a more secure home-outlandish-security
Yoyoyoyo
The Mystery
Deception and Cover-ups
Watch their lies while you can
The disappearing videos of the Pentegon are gone?
yoyoyoyo
wassup wittat?
Arabs killed 3 buildings in NYC
with 2 planes expertly flown
they've blown the towers within an hour
who would've known
to "PULL" building 7
so far in advance?
Who was head of security of WTC
prior to these rocking/shocking
seismic activities that telescoped them buildings down?
How many more of these facts do you need to see until you've seen
the smoking guns?
So what of it?
yoyoyoyo
what of it?
Building 7
Let's start and end
with really what happened on 9/11
Building 7...
we'll not go away until you answer
to the cancer that caused the CIA in building 7
to
go
MIA
on
that fateful
day.
Join me in a Building 7 march on Washington to demand answers
AND
not leave until we have answers to who knew to pull (demolition) Buildings 1&2 (the twin towers) as well as building 7 (It's a gigantic stretch to imagine that two airplanes struck and erupted into fireballs that resulted in 3 collapses only consistant with controlled demolitions).

The blood that is shed in my name
Is blood on my hands.
And the children that are cryin'
Because they'll never see daddy again...
Why can't I say that it's wrong?
Why can't I stand up and do the right thing?
If I could just find a song
That I could sing if I have to go...
All the way to Guantanamo
The gun is in my cousin's hand,
But it ain't his fight to lose.
He works for Uncle Sam now he's gotta go to Babylon
And paint it red, white and blue.
If I could say that it's wrong...
If I could stand up and do the right thing,
I just might find me a song
That I could sing if I have to go...
All the way to Guantanamo
The blood that flows in my name
Left a stain on my heart.
Ain't no need for lies, I can tell you that it's torture, baby.
And it's tearing my soul apart.
Well, I've got to say that it's wrong.
And I'm gonna stand up and do the right thing.
Even if I stand alone,
I'm gonna sing... sing the song...
All the way to Guantanamo

Isn't it about time that someone stood up for the Dixie Chicks? That's just one of the issues that The Corned Beef Jerky Boys tackle in their new album, "Corned Beef Buffet."
The CD boasts original music, each song tailored with biting humor and cutting satire. These guys are irreverent, politically incorrect, romantic cynics, but they reflect all the innocence of the little boy in "The Emperor's New Clothes."
They're New Hampshire fellas who project an unlikely blend of hippie/redneck/Yankee common sense about life in America today.
If you'd like an immediate preview into the realm of The Corned Beef Jerky Boyz, just click the link below. There's a different song on each page of the site, so kick for a few minutes and enjoy!

Well America's sleepwalking through the Middle East
All in the name of democracy
And the people back home are all content with their lives
All is good in America
You know we really don't care what's going on overseas
Cause we're over here living the life of ease
As long as it don't effect me or you
We really don't care what they do
But all that would change in the drop of a hat
With one word from those Washington bureaucrats
That they're taking your sons, gonna give them a gun
And send them off to do the dirty work they've begun
And maybe then you'd stand up and speak your mind
And not stand around as if you were blind
But instead understand that you are to blame
For all the things being done in your name
Chorus:
So bring back the draft
Let all those college kids feel the wrath
Bring back the draft
Let rich America join in the bloodbath
Bring back the draft
Don't let just the National Guard get the shaft
Bring back the draft
Let all those young boys go on the warpath
Bring back the draft
Well mothers and fathers across this great land
You're content with the knowledge that your sons' lives are all planned
They can do what they want, they can do what they choose
They can go on with life like they've got nothing to lose
Then along comes their Uncle and says, "I need you"
And your family all line up and bid you adieu
You're theirs now for two years, you're theirs now for three
To do with you exactly as they please
And now comes the wakeup for mother and dad
And the news isn't good as most of it's bad
Seems the government's lied about why they've done what they've done
And the one who'll pay for this blunder is your son
So to bring out the truth and to make you aware
And to stop all this graft by these billionaires
I say, "Bring back the draft!" and let us all get involved
And let's watch freedom really evolve
Chorus
"I Hear The Voices" Anti-Bush song...
Check out this cool new song which plays with Bush's quote of "I hear the voices." It also threads in many other audio clips of bush, and a cool mixture of musical genres. As heard on Air America!

YO BLAIR
Listen to the MP3
YO BLAIR
You said “Trust me, I’m a straight kind of guy”.
“We’ve got to be whiter than white” that was your election cry
Best not mention Ecclestone, Cash for Peerages and the Iraq lie
Knowing the 45 minute threat was false
Still going along with your master’s course
Millions of people protesting “NOT IN MY NAME” until they’re hoarse
They’re hoarse………. “NOT IN MY NAME”…………they’re hoarse
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY – THAT’S GUARANTEED
BUT IT WON’T BE WANT YOU THINK IT WILL BE
THE ONLY THING THAT YOU’VE ACHIEVED
IS TO BREED RELIGIOUS HATRED AND CORPORATE GREED
The only march you want to see is the march off to war
Obsessed with your place in history trying to justify what it was all for
You’ve been making our country America’s whore
The Intelligence Services warned you that they had their doubts
But the invasion still went ahead you don’t care what international law you flout
Now your integrity is so out of reach………….out of reach
Your INTEGRITY………….out of reach.
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY – THAT’S GUARANTEED
BUT IT WON’T BE WANT YOU THINK IT WILL BE
THE ONLY THING THAT YOU’VE ACHIEVED
IS TO BREED RELIGIOUS HATRED AND CORPORATE GREED
Lying to a nation with your self-serving glorification
Desperately trying to find some kind of justification
Shifting the goal posts left right and centre, trying to validate your reasons to enter
There’s only one solution to your lies and deceit
Your lies………….DECEPTION…….. your lies and deceit………IMPEACH
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY – THAT’S GUARANTEED
BUT IT WON’T BE WANT YOU THINK IT WILL BE
THE ONLY THING THAT YOU’VE ACHIEVED
IS TO BREED RELIGIOUS HATRED AND CORPORATE GREED
Why call for a ceasefire when a few weeks wait will do?
Whilst accusing Iran of wanting nuclear weapons too.
In the meantime we can help Israel with supplying bombs
That will rain down on the CHILDREN of Lebanon.
Will rain down………….on the CHILDREN……….will rain down.
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY – THAT’S GUARANTEED
BUT IT WON’T BE WANT YOU THINK IT WILL BE
THE ONLY THING THAT YOU’VE ACHIEVED
IS TO BREED RELIGIOUS HATRED AND CORPORATE GREED

A song for those who were killed in Iraq and the families they left behind: Letters Home written and performed by Gale Mead. Please feel free to download and distribute widely (and sign my guestbook while you're at it!).
LETTERS HOME
I saw the car pull up outside
I knew just what they'd say
The Department of Defense regrets
Your Brian's passed away, oh lord
Your Brian's passed away
Love of my life, light of my eye
How can I bear the pain?
Again I read his letters and
My tears they fall like rain, lord
They fall, they fall like rain.
And he wrote...
Dear Mary,
I'm not allowed to tell you where our base is
Stuck between Iraq and a couple real hard places
Tell Mom I said thank you for the jellybeans and magazines
Tell our little girls I miss their pretty faces
Oh, and I miss you tonight
Oh, how I miss you
Dear Mary,
Please try not to worry, I'm as safe as I can be
We finally found some more scrap metal
To armor our Humvee
Tell Mom I said thank you for the DVDs and BVDs
Give our little girls a great big hug from me
Oh, and I miss you tonight
Oh, how I miss you
Dear Mary,
Tom and Peter got blown up and it hurts too much to cry
In fighting for this rich man's war
How many more must die?
We're the ones who have to pay
The consequence for arrogance
The President says "Bring 'em on"
And we pay with our lives
Oh, and I miss you tonight
Oh, God I miss you
Dear Mary

National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged they had funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five years. The NTSB covertly funded a project whereby the auto makers were installing black boxes in four wheel drive pickup trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash.
They were surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in 61.2% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, Shit!"
Only the state of Texas was different, where 89.3% of the final words were, "Hey Y'all, hold my beer and watch this!"

Peace, Brothers!
Iraqattack
The lyrics are conscious of world politics, a truly revolutionary
song. The track has an incredible backing sound, an insane
whirlwind of noise that makes Pink Floyd seem tame. It is a great
blues and rock number about the lies and deceptions of politicians.
It shows world leaders for what they are, a bunch of con-men and
con-women. In the background we can hear the chaos of war.
