Sign Rocky Anderson's letter to Obama, Congress, and Holder against Immunity from Prosecution for Torture

This is a typical Rocky Anderson communique. It stimulates and impassions and leaves no doubt about where he stands and where most of us stand. I wish he would relocate to a state where he could be elected to the U.S. House.

Here is an interesting tidbit from the letter:

"In 1983, Texas Sheriff James Parker and three of his deputies were sentenced to four years in prison for waterboarding prisoners during questioning"

P.S. - it will not work with IE 6 - as I experienced and was told via email when I reported the problem - but supposedly is fine with IE 7. If you get an error message or it doesn't come back, you have to send a message to the site and ask for your name to be added manually as I did.

Our society keeps getting more and more accepting and tolerant of violence in all its many egregious forms ... where are our non-stop marches in the streets until this creepy cabal is sentenced?

ARREST BUSHCO & RICO PNAC/FARA AIPAC...PNAC is Bush/Cheney's "Helter Skelter" !

Violence has become so deeply woven into the fabric and mind-set of American culture, society and minds that when the most egregious forms of violence occur, the MIM(i)C (Military-Industrial-Media Complex) dutifully reports it in all its gory detail, and it provokes a "ho-hum ... what else is new?" response.

Methinks the American conscience has become so seared that it's dangerously close to the point where compassion and empathy for others is looked upon as a weakness, where human life is seen strictly in terms of dollars and cents, and the fact that we have to have a petition campaign when we should be out in the streets is a telling indication of just how degraded the American character has become over the past six decades or so.

We're living in some genuinely perilous times, aren't we?
